Donate to the Larry Bruno Foundation

Dear Supporters,

Thank you to all who have supported us in the past. Without your donations, we would not be able to continue our mission of cultivating a culture in our community to develop student athletes and academic achievements by promoting professional coaching, teambuilding and family development.

As an organization, we continue to develop and sponsor:

  • Workshops that build relationships between coaches and students
  • Scholarship programs that provide funds to students at Beaver Falls and Blackhawk High Schools
  • A museum in the city of Beaver Falls that promotes sports and achievement stories serving as a source of pride and inspiration within our community
  • A recognized annual banquet to honor outstanding individuals in our community
  • A new project planned for 2018 to collect oral histories of local success stories and archive these histories for future generations
  • Many local sports organizations with monetary donations and much more that continue to benefit our community

Your donations directly support these public programs to the benefit of our community. We cannot continue to expand and develop these projects without your help. Please send your check (made out to the Larry Bruno Foundation) to the above address. Credit card donations can also be accepted through PayPal.

Your donation, no matter the size, can make a big difference and allow our community to benefit for years to come.

Thank you,
The Larry Bruno Foundation

William R Livingston II Memorial Scholarship Fund

The William R Livingston II Memorial Scholarship Fund, in partnership with the Larry Bruno Foundation, is pleased to announce the creation of a yearly $1,500.00 scholarship, to be given to a deserving individual(s) committed to the betterment of self and others through law enforcement and community service.

The scholarship is named for William “Bill” Livingston, a man who not only served a distinguished career in law enforcement and judicial affairs, but also served as a Patterson Twp. volunteer firefighter for more than 20 years and coached New Brighton’s Midget Football program for 15 years, and the New Brighton High School program for 2 years.

He was also loyal friend, a loving husband and father, a dedicated civil servant, a fair and compassionate Magistrate and the Keeper of the Flame for Taylor’s Bums.

A 1969 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Livingston studied Criminal Justice at the Community College of Beaver County and the PA State Police Academy. He was one of the original full-time members of the Patterson Township PD, serving as Patrolman, Assistant Chief of Police, and Chief of Police during his 23-year career. In 2004 Livingston received his Magisterial District Judge Certification and in November 2005 was appointed by Governor Edward G. Rendell to fill the unexpired term of a retiring District Judge. In 2008 and 2013 Livingston was re-elected to serve six-year terms.

Bill Livingston led an exemplary life in service to others, so to honor that life we are pleased to announce The William R. Livingston II Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Congratulations to new and past scholarship recipients.
